Cynthia Barboza is a research assistant at the Price Center for Social Innovation. She received her B.A. in Political Science at Stanford University where she was trained by the Persuasive Technology Lab. She worked for several years at engagedIN, a behavior design firm that sought to leverage behavioral psychology and design thinking principles to build products and communication strategies for Health-Tech companies looking to increase patient engagement. She is currently a Ph.D. student in Public Policy and Management at the University of Southern California. Her research focuses on political psychology, communication of public policy, and issues of social justice in civic engagement.
