Launch of The Benton Institute ACP Performance Tool

Interested in learning how ACP sign-ups are going? Check out The Benton Institute ACP Performance Tool developed jointly by Benton Senior Fellow John B. Horrigan, Oklahoma State University professor Brian Whitacre, and USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism Professor Hernan Galperin.

The tool shows 1) the number of households that have signed up for ACP and 2) the expected number of households enrolled. The tool is based on a statistical model which accounts for 63 percent of the variation in ACP enrollment for over 25,000 zip codes.

To use, plug in your zip code into the tool and see:

1) the actual level of Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) enrollment in the zip code area,
2) the predicted level of ACP enrollment, and
3) how well the area is performing in comparison to the norm
