Measuring the Effectiveness of Digital Inclusion Approaches
The Measuring the Effectiveness of Digital Inclusion Approaches (MEDIA) project examines digital equity initiatives and provides evidence-based policy recommendations about how to connect low-income households to high-speed Internet services on a sustainable basis. Phase 1 of the MEDIA project assessed the effectiveness of alternative strategies such as school-based broadband vouchers, affordable plan commitments and connectivity through public housing authorities. Phase 2 had a narrower focus on the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), examining its targeting, outreach strategies and impact. The project is supported by The Pew Charitable Trusts.
